A recent discovery with the kindle is that I have my own "kindle page" on Amazon. Go here and then log into your own Amazon account. You can track reading status of your kindle purchases, but what I love is the "Your highlights" feature. Any time I mark a passage whilst reading (and that worked today when I marked passages while reading the kindle book on the PC) and within a few hours those quotes and notes will show up on that page. Makes life so much easier than having to retype them for myself for a review or goodreads update.

Apparently there's also a way to share your quotes on Goodreads and Facebook but I haven't gone down that path before.

Well, I may not have a Kindle, but I can follow a Kindle owner.  Cathy, beware, I am now following you and have access to your public notes!! Wow -- that does seem pretty stalkerish, doesn't it??

Oh no!!!! I think I'll get over it though cheeky

Problem for you is at the moment, most of the books I'm reading are not on the kindle. I swear the notes and quotes are my favorite feature. No notepad stuck next to you, no running to the PC to make a note.
