From Publishers Weekly
"Tom Clancy's collaborator on Red Storm Rising here makes his first--and impressive--independent contribution to the techno-thriller," wrote PW . Bond establishes a credible scenario of a North Korean invasion of the South, although the novel's individual episodes are more suspenseful than the course of the war as a whole.

Abridged EditionAfter listening to Tom Clancy's "Red Storm Rising", I became intrigued with his collaborator, Larry Bond. So I found one of his novels (this just happens to be the first one I came across). As I've stated before, one thing I look for in a book/audio is plausible believability. This book has it in spades! This book is seething with suspence, primarily because the plotline is most probable (not just possible, but PROBABLE). I never trusted North Korea anyway! As I stated, this book has a very interesting plot, a well researched storyline, exciting and totally believable scenarios that give you a roller coaster ride of high tech violence and mayhem (what else can a Mystery/Techno-Thriller fan ask for!) You have intense action sequences on land, in the air, and on the sea (what else is left?) This book is a fun listen! Of course, these are just my opinions, your may be different, but you won't know if you don't give it a try ...................Wiley coyote
