Denise V. 2 books from your bookshelf ( pocket manga - Dragon Arms & Gold Digger) and 2 credits? Or 3 credits for all 4 volumes? Or give it a couple of weeks and if nobody expresses any interest we can come up with something else maybe? |

Yes Marcia N., I still have the Omnibus 3 volume Magic Knight Rayearth Vol. 1-3 in one large binding. This is not on my bookshelf because the system will only give me 1 credit for the book, but it is actually 3 volumes of manga in 1.. if you would like it, I will take 2 credits for it... LMK or send me a PM... thanks. |

give me 1 credit for the book, but it is actually 3 volumes of manga in 1.. if you would like it, I will take 2 credits for it Sherri this is completely against site rules. You cannot ask for more than 1 credit for 1 bound book. Omnibus, anthologies and collections in one binding can only be offered for one credit. You could get your account suspended for that. |

It's not on my bookshelf, it was in the book bazaar.. and it's not even on this list anymore so it's rather mote at this point, I didn't trade or swap the book on this site anyway as you can verify by my transaction archives, it's been removed., so if you feel this is still against site rules, then by all means, do report me since I must not have read that particular rule. Just as a side note, you cannot delete posts, so even though I was in error, I couldn't have corrected it anyway... although I can go in and edit it, and could just as easily said it was a typo. However, since we are on this subject, when is it fair to have to trade a box set of 3 separate books for 1 credit? (Judy Moody v. 1-3). DVD swap doesn't send box sets with more than 1 disk for 1 credit, why should books be any different just because they are in a box set? Maybe the site needs to update its rules. Book information is not the same in databases as DVD so PBS cannot help the one ISBN on a boxed set means only one credit for a boxed set posted in the system. That doesn't mean that we can just willy nilly break the rules on items that are not separately bound books because we don't like it. You can't get more than 1 credit for a single DVD with more than one movie on it either. It doesn't matter what part of the site you are doing it, you cannot ask for more than 1 credit on a single bound book on this site and that is clearly stated in the site rules and again in the Book Bazaar rules (in the red sticky at the top of the forum). They catch and they will suspend your account. I was polite in pointing out the rule to you as I figured you were not aware of it. It appears you are and don't care so next time I will report it instead. |

Assume what you want, however I did read the sticky note for the bazaar and I honestly did not understand any rule stating such. They are welcome to do so since it is their site althought sites do not arbitrarily suspend someone's account on a first offense, if they did, they wouldn't have any users... I was just as polite pointing out to you that the book is no longer on my bookshelf or being offered in the forum on my list so it is not in violation of any site rules now. |
