I recently had a book requested and after printing the label I realized that I had incorrectly posted the book as a large print which it was not. I PM the requested and explained my mistake. My mistake was not deliberated or an attempt to deceive anyone. It was just a human error. I did not her from her for a couple of days so I mailed the book anyway AND returned her credit. I thought the problem was solved until she posted RWAP and a message that said people who post books should be more careful how they post their books. What should I have done differently/

I don't know what you could have done differently.  PM her and remind her that you returned her credit, and ask her to mark the situation as resolved.

They may have no use for a regular print book so now it is just taking up space.  If it were a WL book they would have to mark it RWAP to get put back to #1 on the WL, but they should mark it resolved since you returned their credit.  Not saying you were wrong, because you did return her credit but, if it were me, I would have contacted the team and asked them to cancel the transaction and not sent it at all.

Having caught the problem before mailing the book you should have just cancelled the transaction when you found the problem. Sending them them the wrong book when you didn't hear from them wasn't the correct thing to do since you knew that it wasn't what they requested and the RWAP should have been expected. Even though you returned the credit, the still need to properly record the transaction.

I love members who mail promptly, but in this instance you probably should have cancelled the transaction before mailing.  Most members who request large print do so for a reason, and are likely to be unhappy to receive a different edition.

I'm not sure why you'd mail a book you knew was not posted correctly.

It was your responsibility, not hers, to make sure she got the correct book.
