Highly entertaining police procedure mystery.

Outstanding series debut featuring Los Angeles Detectives Lomax and Biggs, who are called out to investigate the murder of Rambunctious Rabbit (actually a man in costume), the mascot of Familyland (a send up of Mickey Mouse/Disney). The writing is smart, the mystery engaging, and the characters immediately lovable, especially the tongue-in-cheek, black humor shared between the two Detectives. A great, great read!

Sequel is "Bloodthirsty" (ISBN 1596922885).
