Hi everyone,

   I have someone posting racist, negative comments on my profile which apparently frightens me and fellow book lovers. Please look for yourself as I don't want to repeat their words. What can I do to stop this and rid myself of this racism?

The guy is an jerk.  He doesn't even get the title of the book correct.  I would send feedback as this is very inapproprieate IMO,   Everyone is entitled to their opinon, and while he is also entitled to one, that doesn't give him the right to post it to your profile.  I would also ask if it can be deleted

I agree he's entitled to his opinions...but I wasn't sure why anyone would post such racist comments unless they had some personal agenda.

I was involved in 911 so I do get alittle edgy over things with my rights to do so I think.

Carly - I know you've probably already contacted R&R.   I just want to send you my love and prayers and support.  That kind of thing is just not right.    I hope you get if off there soon, as it causes you stress.   Anyone who knows you, knows you are a generous, loving person and will pay NO attention to that!

That is terrible and highly inappropriate.  I'm sorry that happened to you, and I hope he gets the boot from this site.

Rest assured, Carly, it reflects on him not you but I hope R or R will be able to have that removed swiftly. 

Some people are just not happy unless they are hurting someone else's feelings.  Rainey is right, his comments definately reflects more on his character than yours.  I hope that R&R give him a permanent boot.  My best to you!  Happy New Year!

Carly, just put it behind you after it is deleted.   People do the weirdest things for attention don't they?  God bless the happy people out there.  There aren't enough of us   :)

If you haven't, report it to R&R.  What he did was just ridiculous.

Carly, after R&R have had a chance to see what is there and who wrote it, you can delete his comments by deleting your notebook entry and starting it over. I did that to mine, not because it was a bad comment or anything like you got, but just because I didn't want the comment there and in my way ;)   But, wait until you hear from R&R that they have seen this and know who has done it. What a crock to say such crap about someone :(

His comments were inappropriate and misdirected - I can understand how you would be upset and I hope that R&R remove them.  The member should have simply posted a counter review to yours and left it at that.  While it is certainly no excuse for his behavior, I would think that the tract's content might provoke the same type of responses as a review of The Turner Diaries or the Protocols.  I hope the personal attack on you was simply a lapse in judgement where the other member misdirected their reaction toward you rather than the book.  I found your review to be pretty neutral, so you were probably (and unfortunately) just a convenient target. :(
