As you'll see me write in many book reviews: I'm not eloquent. At all. I'm not great with details either seeing as how I did most of my free reading in a two and a half year period.
This book however I've always remembered as one of my favorites. Christianity is dealt with and mentioned often (one of the three main characters is a priest after all) although the main character is heavily bitter towards God for the way her life has turned out.
This book is not one about Christianity but rather it is a book about love, patience, and understanding. It's about holding strong to the ones that you love and defending them with all you have.
This is one of my all time favorite love stories and since I read it in high school at the library I've been itching to own a copy of my own. I'll be ordering this book as soon as I get the chance!

I absolutely *LOVE* this book :) It's what I call a "factional" story, one which is complete fiction but is written so well you believe it may have really happened.
I won't get into too much detail, I'll just say there's a twist at the very end which I never saw coming.
You'll come to love the characters in the end.

*the book is about the beginnings of sign language, how one deaf boy/man and one "outsider" marked as a witch come together to make a better life for themselves and each other.
