My favorites - not necessarily the best books he ever wrote:

Farnham's Freehold

The Door Into Summer

Glory Road

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress

Starman Jones

the two i re-read most often are Time Enough for Love and Stranger in a Strange Land.

i don't know that they're his best, but they're my favorites.  sometimes i'll just re-read Time Enough, and sometimes i'll read all the Lazarus Long books & stories when i get in a mood for those.

i used to re-read more often before my TBR pile quadrupled, thanks to PBS.  :)
