LilyRose Sheffield has a loving and generous mother, loyal employees and friends, a wonderful green thumb thanks to her dad and... oh yes, Synesthesia. LilyRose can see sounds and taste shapes, which makes her feel like an outcast (as none of her boyfriends have been able to understand or accept it) so she locks her heart away. Until the soothing and exciting amber tones of Alex Rivers persuade her to open up again.

This was an adorable book about fears, challenges and trust. The funny characters of Fern Hollow make you laugh and sigh. The tender love that blossoms for LilyRose (and her mother), without pages of sweaty, graphic sex, was refreshingly sweet and inspiring.

The first kiss reminded her of raspberry sherbet...and no man's kiss has since matched all that wonderful, summery essence in all its glory...

RASPBERRY SHERBET KISSES is a sweet story about LillyRose who has the gift of synesthesia which enables one to see sounds and taste shape. Having two or more of your senses linked. She also owns Bountiful Baskets a precious busy basket and gift shop in the quaint little town of Fern Hollow. LillyRose manages to get herself arrested by taking a swing at a snarky wealthy customer with one of her baskets who has made an insulting remark about a young girl who is bald that has started spending time in Bountiful Baskets while in Fern Hollow for the summer with her father.
This is a precious story that was full of emotion. I fell in love with all the characters. The town had enough going on I thought i'd like to visit. LillyRose's mom owns a boarding house and serves wonderful homemade meals.. I thought i'd love to spend a week just for the meals! I enjoyed this cute little read. It was just the right book for the cozy feeling I was looking for this time around. Ms. Bache is also the author of THE ART OF SAYING GOODBYE.
