My son 5 is loving the Spiderwick books. I was wondering what other books might be good for him.
Thanks Naomi

Hank the Cowdog. We also listened to these on tape. We all get a kick out of Hank. We especially like listening to these as the author does such an outstanding job w/ all the voices and sound effects... My son also liked me reading the Chronicles of Narnia outloud and The Hobbit. |

I read "Teddy's Button" by Amy LaFeuvre to my 5 year old last year. He loved it so much we still talk about it. |

My son loved the Geronimo Stilton books at that age. Also the Time Warp Trio series. Now he's love the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, and The 39 Clues series from Rick Riordan. |

My kids have all liked the Magic Tree House series. We have also enjoyed the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. The Great Brain by John D. Fitzgerald was one of my boy's favorites but I don't remember what age we read them. My husband just finished reading Howls Moving Castle and The Castle in the Sky by Diana Wynne Jones and they read aloud beautifully.
