If you read the Manor House mysteries...

I have read on reviews at amaon.com that the publisher didn't inform Kate Kingsbury until *after* "An Unannounced Murder" was going to print that it would be the last installment.

Having just read the second book- "Death is in the Air", I have commited myself and my wishlist to all 8 books. Is the last book going to leave a bunch of loose ends? Will there atleast be resolution to Earl and Lizzies potential romance? Argh! Please help! I don't know if I want to commit to the next 6 books if its going to be a disappointment.

I've read, and loved, them all. I can't for the life of me remember exactly how the series ended, but I think that the author had a chance to wrap up most of the storylines. I would have wished for more books, and a more satisfactory wind-up of Earl and Lizzie's romance, but it just wasn't meant to be, I guess. I do think it is a series worthy of reading even with the abrupt ending.
