Hi All, The School my children go to is currently planning a read-a-thon. Last year the principal kissed a calf as a reward for the school reaching a reading goal she set. We were able to tie that into the book Kiss A Cow. We are looking for something she can do this year (assuming the school once again reads to the goal she sets) but we want to tie the reward into a book. Can you think of any books where an adult (or anyone really) does something silly that we might be able to use as a reward? PM me if you can think of anything! Thanks for the help, Jessy |

It's a shame your principal is female because I've always wanted to do this and have a principal spend the day as Captain Underpants. The first one I worked for was the spitting image of the character, but he moved on before the books became popular. What if you did one of the Magic Schoolbus books and if the kids read to the reward she has to spend the day dressed up as Miss Frizzle? You could have an assembly where she reads the chosen book in her best Miss Frizzle voice with some of the kids who read the most books alongside her to read the parts of the kids in the story. |
