Anyone else read a WL book and end up liking it so much you kept it? Part of me is sorry I didn't post it when I started it so I'd be forced to part with it (trying to cut down on keepers) - but part of me wants to hold on to it for a little while.

Sure, all the time. And sometimes I change my mind later. I often sit on a book for awhile, because sometimes I give something up too soon and then dicsover I still want it.  It's your book to do with what you want.

Yup--I keep plenty but I post just as many back.  I tend to purge series when I am content that they are not going to be re-read.  New to a particular series readers can then take advantage of being able to get a whole series and not have to wait like I did between all the release dates:)

I tend to keep them for a while if I'm not sure.  Others, I post back immediately after having read it.  Some, I keep.  Depends on the book.

I would post it asap if it wasn't great.  I only want keepers in my house.  I have a BOB for posting and a BOB that are keepers.

I keep some too, but I post as many as possible here to get them in circulation in this group.  Seems like we share so many recommendations, many of us have the same books on WL.  And a lot of books get on WL to begin with because of the recommendations.  I will post unread WL books too, like when I get them elsewhere just because I know they are big WL books, or like my unsuccessful erotica glom last year.  I passed several Ellora's Cave books back out after reading a couple and deciding they weren't quite my thing:P

I keep a lot that I know I will read again because I enjoyed it so much the first time.  After the second read, some I keep and others I pass along.

Just depends on how well I like the book.  I've read some WL books that I thought were horrible and had no problem passing on.

I have a wishlist book that is going IMMEDATELY on here as soon as DH finishes it.  I read it and was ticked off to find out it's the first book in a series.  I don't mind books being a series, but there was no mention that there was going to be a series.  I'm trying to keep only a couple of series going in here, and this is one that isn't a keeper

I don't hold onto many. Some I save for games, some I post here and every once in awhile I'll go through my lists and do mini purges of WL books that I've either tried to read and didn't like or I look at and think why do I even have that?

I post some and keep some.  I also have a bad habit of buying books I know are WL when I see them at the thrift shop, even if I have no desire to read them.  I can't stop myself :-)
