I personally loved the book, though I do see where some issues arise. While the story details the two lives shared by one woman, there is never any explanation or certain resolution given, and the nature of the structure does generally necessitate that events lapse into summary sometimes and the reader lose track of the two distinct worlds on occasion. While I personally thought the ending was perfect, in leaving it up to the reader, I can definitely see how some people might want a definitive answer to things. Still, the book is structured in such a different fashion, the concept is so new, and the two storylines so unique and different, I felt myself get drawn in right from the start. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try, if the description sounds at all interesting to you.

This book was pretty powerful and thought-provoking! It started slowly, an old woman in a nursing home, confused (which I went back to later, and it all made sense), but when it started at the beginning of parallel lives she'd led, I couldn't put it down! "Now and never" her fiance told her and with each of those choices, she led a different life----I read until 3 am! Couldn't stop! The only thing I will say is that the ending is a tiny bit disappointing, at least to me, where I hoped the mystery would be cleared up, but it wasn't. Still, I highly recommend it!! GOOD BOOK.
