Oh, how I wished this book was better. The character of Lucas Romero was so full of potential. Amelia (Milly) was okay but I really hated that nickname. I wish Lucas had called her Amelia. This book was so boring. No real romance, no character building, only one sex scene, no conflict. There was so much potential that was not created. It was sad. The ex girlfriend of Lucas created a situation to bring Lucas to heel and then you never heard or saw her again. If she went to that much trouble to let the press know where Lucas was and who he was with to cause mischief then she would have made sure to be in the picture but nothing. There was not a family emergency to bring Lucas and Milly to his mother's house. The mother just found out that Lucas was sharing his home for a few days with Milly. Also Milly did not give herself to Lucas until she knew that he was not just a "ski instructor". They did not have sex until they were staying at his mothers house as an "engaged couple". I wish the description on the back of these books actually described the story within the covers. The only great thing about this book is how Milly grew up and said no to Lucas when he wanted to continue sharing the apartment.
