Once again, Terry Pratchett has done it! His satirical take on all things universal (religion, politics, life...and Death) have hit the mark. Death, one of my favorite characters from Discworld, gets a chance to retire and, well, DIE. The Powers that Be think he's grown too symathetic to the human plight, something they can't abide. Will he roll the dice and let himself ride off into the sunset, or will he scythe his way back to the top, a new love at his side?

Definitely a great read.

Death takes a holiday on Discworld. Will the farming life suit him? Will he learn to speak in lowercase? Tune in to this discworld to find out.

I love the books featuring Death. This one also features the wizards. Only Pratchett's funniest books.

This was amusing. I really, really needed that. It did drag at spots, but in the last third it got to rocking and rolling.

I really enjoyed Death becoming more, human there. Windle Poons was amusing, but also touching. The concept of the predator of cities was simply hysterical once you realize what it is.
