If I don't get my book that is promised to be sent to me will I get my point back.  I have to wait until the 13th to report that I did not receive it.  It was a small mass market paperback that was light enough to be sent first class.  Should have gotten it a couple of weeks ago.

Kay - If the book is declared lost by the system, it will get your credit back (you don't have to report it...the system will declared it lost automatically if you haven't marked it mailed by the deadline.) However, that doesn't mean the book will never arrive...sometimes with Media Mail, the books take the scenic route.

It says in the help docs that you should wait 2 wks to reorder incase the book shows up.  I usually bump MMPs up to 1st class but not everyone does.  And the weights are frequently wrong in the PBS system.  So it could have been sent media mail after all and sometimes they take a tour of the US. 

You may also want to take into consideration where it is coming from as several parts of the US have had horrific weather as of late.  Also, there are some military members and those in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico that usually have longer ship times.
