Well, I am very disappointed..  Received a book that has been on my wishlist for awhile, and definitely has brown liquid damage on a lot of the pages and inside cover.  Can't believe someone would send a book out like this.  I am going to mark it a problem, but noticed there is a box about wanting credit back.  If I mark this, does this mean I need to send book  back.  It is a book I want to read, but it won't be put back into p.swap by me.  I just want to make sure I am doing the right steps with this. thanks d.b

That just means that you are requesting the credit back from the sender.

The sender can ask for the book back.  You do not have to send it back.  That issue should be separate from the RWAP and requesting your credit back.  If the sender wants the book back and you want to send it, then they also owe you for the postage to mail the book back to them.  They can either send you the postage money or send you another credit to cover it.

You are within your right to refuse to send the book back to them at all.

As Sarah said, returning the book is optional.  If agreed upon tho, the sender must reimburse you for return postage first (either a PBS credit or stamps via snail mail).
