I requested a book and received a PM from the sender saying she didn't mark the book mailed but wanted the credit anyway.  I PM'd her to ask her to mark it mailed before the request gets passed to someone else so I wouldn't get 2 books.  I didn't hear from her and received her book as well as a second one with 2 days of each other.  I accidentally marked both received and am stuck with 2 copies.  I think I read somewhere here that I can only post one copy of a book.  I would have eventually posted both copies.  Do I have to "eat" the extra credit?  What about the second copy?  Can I post it?  Thanks for any advise. 

Diane, you can post the second copy, but you have to post one first, wait for it to be ordered, then post the second--you can't have two copies of the same ISBN on your shelf at the same time..

Thank you for responding so soon.  I'll post one book and wait for it to be ordered before I post the second.  Because I accidentally marked them both received, I'll just "eat" the second credit.

Or you can offer it as a freebie/bogo, etc in the Book Bazaar!

if the first person never marked it mailed how did you mark it received?  did you go to the transaction archive?  that is really the only way to do that because it shouldn't be on your main account page any more

I realized that I marked the second book received just as it had been mailed.  Then,I received a message as I was logging off and it said I have to mark a book received and I clicked something ( I'm not sure what) because I had to log off.  It was a very unusual message that I never saw before.  I think I just clicked it too quickly and never read it properly.  I've been a member long enough to know the proper procedure.  I guess I was in a hurry.
