I went to get my mail today to pick up a book I knew was in my PO Box because I've been tracking the DC number. When I got to the PO I found two packages. I thought another book had come early. Anyway, both mailers contained the same title. I looked at my transaction archive to see what happened. My request went to someone in Florida first, but that person didn't respond on time so the system canceled the request to her and passed it on to someone in Nebraska. This doesn't happen a lot, does it? |

No, not a lot. You don't have to give credit to the first person who didn't respond on time--basically you get an extra book. You can either post it now or keep it or do what you want with it. Just make sure you mark the correct one received so the second sender is the one who gets credit. Cheryl |

That's also what happens when you don't mark a book mailed and the request rolls over to another member. Voila! Two copies and the first member who did not mark it mailed loses a credit. |
