Hi! I requested a book, but received the wrong book instead (different title). I heard that I wasn't supposed to mark it RWAP, but I did, and I'm unsure what to do next. Has anyone been in this situation? Advice, please! Thank you! :-) |

I can't answer your question, but I just had to ask about your signature: Did Frank Zappa really say that?? |

When you receive the wrong book (different title) I don't think you are to mark it received. But since you marked it RWAP all you can do is ask for your credit back. |

What may have happened is that your sender may have switched wrappers on a couple of books. In that case, the easiest way to resolve it is for the sender to contact you and the person who received your book, offer you each one credit to cover the cost of mailing, and then you each mail the book to the other. You should contact the sender to see what happened. maybe she grabbed the wrong book and can just mail you the correct one. |

Did you accidentally order the wrong book and got that book or actually received the wrong title book? |

Thanks for your responses, everyone! Luckily the person who I requested the book from is a very nice person, gave me a credit back to cover the postage of sending the book to her, and I'm going to mail the book back to her. I ordered the right book, but she accidentally switched it with another book. (another person got the book that I requested!) |

Diane, I'm not sure if Frank Zappa really said that. :-) (my quote in my signature) I got it from a website called Goodreads, and they seem to be pretty reliable when it comes to quotes! |

Actually, if she wants you to mail the book back to her, then by PBS rules she should give you two credits (one to refund the credit you spent on a book you didn't get, and one to cover postage back to her), unless she's mailing you the correct book as well? But, in that case, wouldn't it be easier and less expensive for her to just have you and the other person mail to each other for a credit each?
