Normally in the summer, I notice a real decline in wish list offers, but just in the last few weeks I have had so many wish list books offered to me, it is like it gets just after the holidays. Is it just a lucky time for me or are you also noticing an increase in wish list offers?

On the other side, when I post a wish list book now, it consistently rolls through several members until it is accepted unless I use the Gold Key "post to a friend" feature. Its very frustrating when trying to make just one trip to the post office for all the books being sent out...hate holding up other book requests while I wait for a wish list book to be accepted. I know, I am helping to weed out inactive members...but still frustrating!

I haven't noticed any increase and the most recent book I was offered was accepted, then the member never bothered to mail the book, which is frustrating as it's rarely posted and this is the second time I've had this happen with this particular book. Oh well. On the other hand, I have posted a number of WL this summer, so maybe a lot of people are thinning their personal shelves. Glad you're having a lucky streak. smiley

I haven't noticed any increase.  I do go through periods where I get a lot of offers & then none for quite awhile, but lately I have gotten a few but not any more than normal.

This is so funny - I just came here to post this exact question. The past year or two I've averaged around 3-4 books a month (tops). It's now shot up to about 8. I have no idea why.

ETA - I received 8 in July and have already received 4 offers in August.

I've received quite a few WL offers recently, but was afraid to saything for fear I'll "jinx" the good karma!

I wasn't seeing very many offers for quite a while, then about a month ago, I got a whole bunch of them.  I usually keep 10 credits in reserve and suddenly found myself scrambling around for WL books to send out to get some more credits--was down to zero credits at one point.  Within the last couple of weeks, the offers to me seem to have tapered off again.

This may not have anything to do with a spike in offers (but I hope it does)

A bunch of us just wrapped up a game in which we agreed to posting a book to the FIFO in addition to the game book. I can't speak for everyone, but it inspired me to post several wl titles I've been to cheap to post. I know other players did too.

I've been receiving some wishlist books lately but this is months after not getting any so I figured it goes in cycles. I don't keep many credits in reserve anymore so that meant I had to ship some of my books off too so I was glad to move a bunch of them through the system.

Comes in cycles for sure...I have not had any for a few weeks but before that I got a lot. Truthfully I am glad to have some down time, lol! I had gotten so many for a few weeks that DH was surprised when I went a day without a book.

After a really slow June, WL offers picked up the second half of July and I have been offered one a week recently.

I feel just the opposite--I do not seem to get as many WL as I used to and the ones I have where there are several wishers in front of me don't move very fast.

Oh well...........................................

In the past few weeks I've gotten three offers, that's the most I've had in about a year.

For the last few weeks, I've been getting 4-6 WL offers a week, it's pretty crazy! And I'm really loving it!

I just posted (and mailed) 16 WL books this week.  Hopefully the members who receive them will be happy.  cheeky

It must be you! I've sent out way more books than I've gotten, and only a handful have been wishlist books. I only signed up a couple months ago though, and most of my places in line are in the 50s. I am really looking forward to next summer. :)

I definitely do get more wish list books because of my Gold Key membership...a lot of my Gold Key friends will post WL books directly to me, just as I prefer to post books directly to friends because I know they are active members and I do not get into a situation where a book sits for days or weeks as it rolls through unresponsive members.

I've actually had less lately. And that's ok because I'm trying to read what I have.

I've received and filled a lot of WL in the past month or so, yes.

Huh, you're absolutely right!  I never thought of it that way.  Thanks for pointing that out!

I don't know why, but it seems to be feast or famine.  Either I  have books flying in, or a large stash of credits that just sits there.  Either way it makes me antsy.
