i dont mean to rag on anyone, but in the last 3 weeks, i have gotten books wrapped in a bread bag, 1 book that

was so worn it was like tissue paper, and yesterday, i recieved 1 with the front and back cover completely off.

i am not trying to be rude, but considering people are taking credits for these books just strikes me as wrong.

the next one i recieve in that condition is getting sent back, and i will ask for my credit to be replaced.

Marion - sorry you are getting unpostable books. Please read the section in Help regarding books with problems and follow the procedures spelled out there. A book marked as Received With A Problem will get a lot more accomplished than a post in the Bazaar (This is really for highlighting your shelf  and offering deals). It will also track the problem in the system. You are well within your rights to ask for credits back when you receive a book with an official problem.

As for the bread bag, that's not all that odd. Many, many members recycle clean dry plastic to protect the books while in shipment. You will probably get some wrapped in even stanger things than that over time.

There are some members that don't follow the rules, but don't lose hope in the system, most member send good books and I have received many more like new that I have unpostables.
