I was in Barnes and Noble once and picked up the most interesting book by a professional chef who never got tired of cooking, but the intense heat in professional kitchens really overwhelmed her. Therefore, when she would get home from her chef job, she invented meals that she could make without turning on the stove. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the book, and have not been successful in finding it on Amazon. She wasn't a raw food vegan which is so trendy now, and the book wasn't based on that theme. I am making more meals these days that are simply placing some cheese, crackers, fruit, crudite and dip on plate, and I'm interested in getting ideas for more bonehead simple uncooked meals that appeal to the foodie in me. If any of you know the name or author of this book, or any books like it, I would really appreciate your help! Thanks!
