I've had this book on my cookbook shelf for over 10 years..clean, whole eating long before it was "fashionable". The recipes don't have to be considered "diet"...just good, easy, healthy, economical food that the whole family can enjoy. It's one of my go to books; especially when you pick up seasonal produce and want to know what to do with the overabundance of fresh food. Best yet, is the recipes have calorie and nutritional count with them; the negative it doesn't state the weight or volume measurement of the serving..so if it serves 3 you have to split and eyeball if you are counting calories.
