Thelma and her business were featured in the March 1991 issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine in an article called, "Working at Home." This cookbook is her first. It is a collection of over 250 recipes and her memories from the pre-Depression era through the World War II years and today. Thelma has included many of the old recipes and ways of cooking that if not recorded will be lost forever. She has written about the customs and habits that made up the life-styles of the pioneers--their farm life of work and play, especially the early years of her parents and family.
