This was great the narrator did the voices of the characters great and with so much enthusiasm.... I actually felt like i was watching a movie when i listened to it...

The story is about the girls of Waverly acadamy - who on the surface seem like rich snobby aloof backstabbing bitches ready snatch your boyfried once you arent looking however after a series of eye opening events they realize the importance of friendship and realize that you cant always judge a book by its cover (or a girl by her designer outfit!!) they also realize that just being popular isnt always enough to save you from getting hurt... They also end up learning that boyfriends come and go but a friendship with your girlfriend should be forever.... Nice fun chick lit novel... I already ordered the second one!!

Wasn't bad, but wasn't too great either. Kind of seemed forced.. maybe I'm growing out of this stuff?

I've read all the Gossip Girl books, but for some reason I really like The It Girl, possibly better. Maybe it's Jenny's innocence, or how Callie seems to have a sincere, sweet side to her if you take away the bitchy front. Or how Easy seems so..hott =]
In this novel the truth comes out, the girls make a pact to start respecting themselves, Tinsley finds a new man *who sounds exceptionally hott*, Callie & Jenny make up, Brett's relationship crumbles, and everyone finds out about Kara, a really cool chick who finally gives Heath what he deserves.

Jenny Humphrey has had nothing but boys chasing after her since she began attending Waverly Academy. Namely, the three hottest guys on campus! And one of them happens to be her current boyfriend, the sexy-manly-artist Easy Walsh.

Who just happens to be her roommate, Callie's, ex-boyfriend, who still likes him.

And with gossip like that, Tinsley had to start drama and tell Callie. So the two roommates have done nothing but ignore and avoid each other for a long time. But Easy does something not good behind Jenny's back.

What does he do? Will Callie and Jenny ever be friends? What stunt will Tinsley pull next? Well, you are just going to have to read this book to find out!

With every new IT GIRL book I read, I love Jenny a little more, and hate Tinsley a little more. Mrs. von Ziegesar has created characters that will keep you on your toes, and dying to know what will happen next!
