Topic: Recommend CSI books???

I love the CSI TV shows so am wondering how the books are?  I just recently heard they even existed, have not seen them displayed "out front" in bookstores or at my library.

FYI--- I love the Bones TV show and only just "like " the books in comparison so don't want to waste time if the CSI ones just reiterate the TV shows.

Read all but a few of the earliest ones which are now out of print.  I have seen similar stories in the shows but not duplicates.  There are several different authors for the books and the writing is reasonably consistent regardless of the author.  So I'd find a story that appeals and try the one book to get an idea if you'd like the series.  Personally, I am not a CSI Miami fan so the better books (IMO) are the Vegas and New York settings.
