Okay.  I just had to have opinions on this one.   Is it hard for anybody else to picture a gorgeous, steaming hot, red-headed male character, be it vampire, lupine or other?  I just don't find this plausible.  Don't get me wrong, I think there are plenty of good looking red-headed males, but not of the bulky, dark seductive sex gods as in paranormal romances I've read.  Women, YES.  There are sultry, gorgeous red-headed women, but RH males are more on the cute side with light skin and freckles.   Hopefully nobody will get offended by that opinion...LOL 

I thought about this after reading the second book in Caitlin Kittredge's series and she said that Dmitri was a RH, totally changed my imaginings of him.  There was another book I read recently, same thing, but now I can't remember. 

Well-- I have two red headed sons, and as much as I hate to say it, neither of them will ever win a Hot guy contest.

Red heads don't do it for me.  I  have never seen a red head that I thought was hot. -- Just my opinion. 

( How did I get red head boys you wonder?  Me too.  Actually my Dad had red hair, and it turns out DH 's mom had strawberry blonde as a little kid, but then it turne brown when she got older.  My DH blames it on the mail man)

LOL, yeah I was just looking for a list of red-headed actors, this is what I got so far and none of them could play Quinn (Riley Jensen), Vishous (BDB) or any werewolf.

Ha, I found someone who I consider a hot red-head, didn't even know he was a RH though that's why I didn't consider him.  But can't see him playing a vamp, even though he's a fabulous actor.  EWAN McGREGOR. 

I used to work with a guy named Mason who was redheaded and ohhhh so sexy.His freckles were somehow hot.It just worked for him.But it doesn't work for everyone.I myself pefer black or dark brown hair on a guy.

I read once that the market research types had done studies and found that red-headed heroes simply didn't sell well with target groups so it is an unwritten rule that redheads shouldn't be the hero.

But the heroes in Jennifer Ashley's new historical series are described as having auburn, reddish hair and they are certainly hot.  Don't know if she uses that in her paranormals or not.

I think Damian Lewis is pretty hot - he had a sexy zen thing going on in the tv show Life.
