I enjoyed the surfing context and the courtroom banter but i had a problem identifying with the client he was defending. It was a very wordy novel and I found myself setting it down often and going back to read later. I did read it though. Some books I set down and never pick up again. It has some interesting characters and the writing was well done. I reccommend it for a beach read.
