I agree with all the previous reviews. This is an exceptional historical Christian series following one family through the generations from the time the Pilgrims came to America.

Gilbert Morris is a wonderful writer, and the books are interesting and hard to put down.

I loved this story as I do the entire House of Winslow series. I am not a deeply religious person; I am however a very spiritual person. Gilbert Morris has a way with words that just speaks clearly to me. I love his portrayal of the characters, with all of their flaws. His historical accounts are not just factual but a very integral part of each novel. I would say this series is a "thumbs up!"
