As this is my first post holiday with PBS I was wondering if I should remove my Thanksgiving & Christmas books from my shelf?  Not sure what the best way to deal with these books would be.

I have Christmas and Thanksgiving books on my shelf. They are going to stay there until they're ordered. Put them on your reminder list and see how many copies there are in the system.

I'd leave them, since 1) you will lose your place in FIFO if you remove them,  and 2) some people, like me, order seasonal books throughout the year.

If you have the space to keep them then don't delete them.  You just lose your place in FIFO and have to start at the end again when you repost.  If it's a storage space issue than that's up to you to decide if you have the space or not and just want to purge them.  I have lots of book storage space so I keep anythign I have that's heavily posted or just isn't getting ordered.  The next time I move I'll purge but until then it's a potential credit.   So far most of the books I've posted, even those with hundreds of copies in the system, have been ordered within 6months.

Thanks for your thoughts.  I think I'll leave them posted.
