I'm trying to repost a book I received through PBS and I can't figure out a way to do it so the "passport" information is included.

Generally I hang onto the books I receive here, so I didn't bother to add this one to my TBR or Bookshelf.  There was mention somewhere that posting the book "from the Transaction Archive" rather than with ISBN would also do the trick -- does anyone know how to do this? (Clicking on the title in the transaction archive just takes me to the book's summary page.)

Thanks in advance!

I think if you just enter the ISBN on the Post Books page, then the system will assume it's the same book you received and add to the passport info.

If you do want to post from your Transaction Archive, you can click on the title to go to the book details page, then click on the Post This Book button on the page (3rd button on the left).

Perhaps you can try posting it from your TBR list or your BIR list.  Do let us know if it works.

I usually just enter the ISBN number into the search bar at the top-right corner of the site.

From my experience, things have changed in the system with respect to retaining passport information. These days, I have found that the only way to keep the passport information is to choose to have the book put on my bookshelf on hold when I mark it "received". In the past, my experience was that it would find the passport information upon reposting regardless of whether it was put on the bookshelf or in the TBR pile, or neither. I have not found a way since the behavior change to get it to pick up the passport info if I did not put it on the bookshelf on hold right from the beginning.

I would be interested to hear if others have had the same or a different experience.

I have a book in my recent transaction history that has three passport stamps (three mailings) from August and September of this year. (recently released paperback)

So, based upon what I can see, the passport system is working, but I do not know how the previous senders posted it.

I just noticed a few days ago while looking at my TA that some books I have recieved and then sent out later are not on the same passport and some are. I don't put anything on my bookshelf on hold. I checked a bunch again to see if there was a date that they stopped being on the same. One back in 2012 was not on the same one and another in 2013 was. Odd.
