Dina, You'll need to post it as a book with no ISBN.  I know that sounds odd to post a book with an ISBN as a book with no ISBN, but PBS tells us to do it that way.

You can also tag the wishlisted version (the paperback one) with the PBS generated number your book (hardcover) will receive. Depending on the book, it might be snapped up fairly quickly.

You can also post it in the Book Bazaar.

There often are threads that are just to promote books with different ISBN numbers of WL books.  Both in the Bazaar and in some forums.  But I have had good luck with tags.  Put a tag on the WL version.  The next person will often request yours rather than waiting.

Emily what do you put on the tag?   How would they know from the tag on the WL version?  Thanks

"Hardcover with same ISBN listed under ISBN #XXXXXX" showing the PBS assigned short ISBN is what I would do.

Emily,

I just went and added a tag to a WL book and it looks good and it was easy to do.  Thanks for the tip.

Didn't know you could do that and now I can go look at my WL books and see if by chance any of them are "tagged".  I love something new!

Jeannie

I guess my question is it will go to the pool not to your book shelf -members will just search for that ISBN?  thanks

Orders would go to the first person in the FIFO list with the book. But with a one that has to be posted as having no ISBN, the 6 digit # it is assigned will be unique to that specific book and no others should be posted to it.
