Hi,

As a requester how can I tell if the sender agreed to ship in 2 days or in 5 days? I checked under the details but it only says when the request was accepted and there is no email confirming that the sender accepted the request. I ask because I wonder when the request will be canceled if the sender does not mark it shipped.

I accepted on 5/22. The sender accepted on 5/24.

Thanks,

Christina

If the sender selected they will mail later you would know. It would say: Will mail by:..... in the little speech bubble section.

I do not see a "will mail by: ....", so I assume this request will be canceled tonight, right?

5 days after the 5/22 request would be 5/27?

not exactly- i think there 2 days of grace so add 2 more days to the 5 days...

any reason for the rush? (i am NOT trying to be smarmy- just curious.)

Oh, no rush. Just that I've already had one canceled this week by PBS because it was not marked shipped in time and I will be sooo disappointed to lose a second one in the same week. So, I was just wondering exactly how the system worked.

Thanks for the info!

If it hasn't been printed then I don't think you can be sure.  I don't print out until just before I mail.  I do accept, though.

From the help center ~

If the sender clicks "I can mail in the next 2 days" the Status of the transaction on the request on the requestor's  account page will read "Accepted".

If a sender clicks "I can mail later" the status of the transaction on the request on the requestor's  account page will show "Will Mail by:" and the alternate mailby date chosen.
