what does that mean- i wont get the book? or will it time out and go tio another memberr who has

They probably just now put their account on hold. Your original request is still active, if they accepted it. They may have just decided that they didn't want to send any more packages for a while.

I had put my account on hold about a week before Christmas. I just didn't want the hassle of the holiday crowds at the post office. I still had several active requests when I went on hold, and I sent them.

When I was first trying to figure out how to put my account on hold, but keep my WL active, I took my account off hold for about 60 seconds. In just that short time I received a request that I had to honor.

I have also put my account on and off hold a lot to control postage costs. Sometimes I will go on hold when a book is 1 hrs buyer's remorse hold and come back later to see the request.  I have also come off hold just long enought to post a WL book.  I like to ship in multiples but sometimes I am busy or short on postage and just want to mail that one book off and not risk getting multiple requests.  I took my account off a Christmas hold for 1 day and had 6 requests-it went right back on hold.

I took my bookshelf off vacation hold after Christmas, added $$$ to my account and sent out 8 requests since then. 

Account on hold again until I can add more $$$.
