I am looking for someone who has several books from a prolific author (Lora Leigh).  I would like a deal but don't want to be greedy.  Is it acceptable to post that I am looking for her books and want a form of a deal or do I need to just keep searching the Book Bazaar?

As long as they aren't wish listed books, you're more than welcome to ask for a deal.  However, if her books are WL ones, you can ONLY ask for a deal from someone who's posted on the forums that they have WL books that they are willing to send to one person (this is usually due to the person wanting to save on shipping and/or keep books in a set together).

There is a link in the Book Bazaar to post about books that you're seeking.  There are people who check that thread because I've posted in there at times & had a few people offer me book deals on things I wanted.  You just have to be patient about it because it can sometimes take days/weeks for someone who has those books to contact you.

If I know its a large series or if I want a lot of books, I always request if anyone would do a deal.  I also do a deal for others too.

Also be prepared for those who don't frequent the forums and have no idea what you're talking about when you ask for a deal.  I've had that happen (especially on children's books) and finally gave up asking.  Pat

I've asked for deals many times , and only been tuned down ( or not answered at all ) a few times.  I have Lora Leigh on my shelf and always do deals.

Yes , you can post in the book bazaar that your looking for her books , unless that are W.L books.

You might want to post in the genre forum, too: Love & Romance.

There's a thread there "is this on your Bookshelf?" where you can list the titles you're looking for and that a "deal" would be greatly appreciated.

Edited to add: unless the title(s) are wishlisted, of course.
