I have an e-mail from PBS yesterday saying a book was requested from my shelf. I went to my account today to accept - but the request is not there. I thought cancelled requests went on the transaction archive, but it is not there either. Is this normal? |

I think only completed transactions make it to the archive - if the requestor cancels before the request is accepted, the whole event just disappears. |

I have a couple of transactions where the requestor cancelled the order before I had a chance to print the book. They both appear in my transaction archive. (I also have one where I ordered the wrong book and cancelled). All three of these transactions show up in my transaction archive. Don't know why yours isn't showing John. |

If the request was cancelled BEFORE he had had a chance to respond to it, that's why it doesn't show up. If he had accepted and THEN the sender cancelled (or he did) then it would show up. Cheryl |

I don't think that's true. I show a book I posted as a cancelled transaction in my archive. It was cancelled 2 min after it was requested. I never saw the request or even got an email that the book was requested. But it's right at the top of my TA and the book is now back on my shelf. I just happened to notice it because I went to check on a book that went lost recently-just to see if there happened to be any scans. |

No, it is not normal. It should show in your transaction archive if it is not still in an active tab on your main screen. Re-read the e-mail to confirm what it said and double check your shelf to see if the book is still there. All "completed" transactions will show in your TA and that is any book marked received or cancelled by the system, the sender, or the receiver. The only ones that wouldn't are when the RC is denied. |
