I'm not a happy camper.  Had a book timed out & marked Lost in Mail.  When I went to check on Requester their account is on Hold.

Well, no wonder they haven't marked it received.  Granted it could have been lost, a first for me.  But how often do members put their accounts on hold when books are in the pipeline?  Or, is is possible PBS but a hold on the account because so many books have been "lost in mail"?

It is possible that PBS put their account on hold for inactivity, but there is no way to know for sure.  It's also possible that they have gone on vacation (it is summer) and will mark the book received when they get home.

They could have put their account on hold (because of vacation or whatever) after the book was mailed.  I just did that with mine, because I'm not going to be able to mail out anything for a few days (printer problems).  But I still have two books coming.

I would PM the person to inquire whether they have received the book (sometimes some members need a little nudge to mark books received...), and if you do not hear back from them in a week, contact the PBS team and ask them to look into the member's inactivity and if they are indeed inactive, mark your book received for you.

What Sally said...yes

If, after a week, you don't hear from her, you can contact the PBS Team by going to the bottom right corner of any page.  Under "company" click on "contact us," and use the Feedback option there.

All the time, it's very common.

Some people keep their shelves on hold full time to control postage costs, and just unhold for a specific purpose, like mailing a couple of Wish List books or whatever.

It's also vacation season.

Contact PBS about it after a week without an answer.

I have my account on hold more often than not.  Usually I am at home and just have enough books to read and don't want to bother, for awhile, with my bookshelf.  It's very common.

I also often do this while books are in the system, either ordering or sending.  It does affect those books in any way.
