I have had the same problem several times and am right now on the second person, who has not yet responded one way or the other, trying to get a copy of "Rushed to the Alter" by Jane Feather.  It is the first in a series, and I have the other 2 books but do not want to read until I can get this first one.  It is really frustrating.

I have also had this problem a few times. Mostly when a book I request has plenty of copies available & since its FIFO, some of the members who first posted the book may be inactive now.

I've had it happen quite a bit lately. Several books have run out of time waiting to be accepted, and then were passed onto another person. One went through 3 or 4 people before I actually had one accept it.

I just got a book today that I had ordered almost a month ago. They were slow to accept, slow to mark mailed, and they didn't mail when they marked it. At least they sent it first class, or I'd still be waiting.

Frustrating!

I've even had problems with WL books not being accepted. Why post a WL book if you don't plan to accept and mail?

I've had that problem with wishlist books too - it is definitely strange because most days I check PBS three or four times and try to respond quickly.

I posted a WL book that had around 60 wishers and it still rolled through 4 people before being accepted. I had to remove a book off my wishlist because the person posting the book into the system refused to send it.  The book would time out and then go right back to her since it IS the only book in the system. lol
