I've been hunting down sci-fi/fantasy written by women about the lives of women - especially about women who love women (so sick of reading about men running after magically endowed staffs and swords!!!) I found this one of PBS and took a chance, thinking that the description seemed a little corny but what the hey...
It's a great book!!! One of the better of the genre that I have read - I was immediately drawn into the story, and the character's lives. Plus, it wasn't just a relationship book or a erotic piece - the storyline and world is actually REALLY interesting - being a lover of post-apocalyptic stuff, I was hooked! (but it was very solid on the relationship stuff and on the erotic stuff too) I'm searching for the rest of the series now... it's definitely worth the read!
