My son enjoyed reading this book very much. He doesn't like to read on his own but he read the whole thing in no time and loved it.
Its different reading what has so much more in special effects. It was good to read the story before the screenplay.
Just a straightforward retelling of the Return of the Jedi movie. Definitely a must for those who would like to have a complete collection of Star Wars books, and well written for what it is, although not terribly deep. A fun comic-book-ish space adventure story.
The illustrated edition with storyboards by Joe Johnston and Nilo Rodis-Jomero.
The book is a good read. Just like the movie, only in text.
As for the condition of the book, the particular version of this book that I'm posting was published in 1983. The years are showing, but there are no tears, the covers do have some creasing and some wear around the edges, but ARE NOT falling apart. There is no damage to the pages. Overall, the book is in "good" condition.
Cover was slightly ripped and was taped before I got it.
