While I did enjoy Revenge of the Lawn - I laughed out loud- most of the short stories left me saying, "What is the point?" or "Where is the rest?" I was enjoying The Abortion but once again the ending was a let down. I won't bother searching for another Brautigan book, although they are rare finds. He is mildly humerous, very autobiographical, and just not the type of reading I enjoy. I can see that his mind works in a very different way, and sometimes in an amusing way, but just not that riveting of a writer.
