From School Library Journal
Grade 6 Up Ripley succeeds in being non-judgmental as he tells of Nixon's beginnings in California and rise through national politics to become the 37th President of the United States and, finally, the only President to resign from office. The account is detailed, in proper context, and well balanced. Numerous black-and-white photographs and reproductions, quotations from Nixon's contemporaries, and a good chronology and bibliography enhance the book.
