Richie
Author: Thomas Thompson
Richie loved his father. His father loved him. Yet it made no difference - they were torn apart by generations. They were headed for a horror scene of classic proportions, a final, terrible moment of truth. As shattering as Go Ask Alice.

Interesting look at a teenage boy's life. Reads like "Go Ask Alice", but from a male point of view.

This is another of Thomas Thompson's excellent true crime stories. It concerns an ordinary family working toward, but never quite achieving the "American Dream". Their two much loved sons are the focus of both parents. Then the older son becomes increasingly involved in the drug culture, the relationship between father and son becomes strained to the breaking point. The escalating arguments and fights finally end in murder.

This is a wonderful true story that could happen to any of us. It kept me enthralled throughout the book. It is a must read for anyone who likes a great real life adventure.
