Logan Sackett gets just a mite upset when he learns that outlaws are pestering kinfolk of his. She's a tough old gal this Emily Talon. She was born a Sackett and they just don't come any tougher or with a heart any softer than old Emily.

Ok.....I love L.L.... especially the Sacketts. But I really love books about the Sackett women, and this is no exception. Em Sackett is a crusty old gal... as one might expect of a Clinch Mtn Sackett. Her hubby, a Talon.... decended from a pirate that the founding Sackett, Barnaus, was wise to avoid tangling with... set her up with a home that is part ranch house and part fortress. In fact, they had painted numbers on the rocks facing the house to mark off the shootin' distance! Anybody that brought trouble to their door would find themselves setting inside a ready-made shooting gallery!

A great story.... but what else would you expect from a Sackett tale??

My husband truly enjoys these because there is no bad language. Very enjoyable for a Christian man.
