If you like stories of the old west and in particular the life of the Native American people, you will love this book. Based on a true story, it describes in detail life on the plains and how the People lived. I knew the ending would be sad, because the end of a life style that was free and the influx of the Europeans (White eyes) is history. If you liked Dances with Wolves, you will love this book.
