Imagine some more, to the tune of Imagine
(with apologies and gratitude to the memory of John Lennon)
by Nora Freeman 1/9/08

Imagine no more prisons,
It isnít hard to do
No more human outcasts
Itís up to me and you

Imagine education
And jobs for everyone

You may say Iím crazy
But Iím not the only one
Nobodyís born bad or lazy
Earth is the place that we all come from

Imagine true equality
I wonder if you can
All one human family
Every woman, child, and man

Imagine peace and justice
All over the world

You may say Iím crazy
But Iím not the only one
Nobodyís born bad or lazy
Earth is the place that we all come from

Every ethnic group and country
Skin of every hue
All religions, no religion
And every gender too

Many differences among us
But much more is the same

You may say Iím crazy
But Iím not the only one
Nobodyís born bad or lazy
Earth is the place that we all come from

I have always thought poems that *rimed (*SPELL CHECK! HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT WORD??*) where always sort of childish (No offense to *rhimers) but i read this and it was very calming. Thank you.
