I am happy with my book, but I was expecting the paperback edition on the listing. I let the member of 1 and1/2 years know that some members have a problem with that. { The wrong ISBN issue has been brought up here before}  I directed her to the forums. Is there anything else I should have done?

You should have marked the book "received with a problem / wrong book"   In the note field -write  that you did not request the ISBN she sent and it was suppose to be a paperback, not a hardcover.  (I am assuming that you received the hardcover edtion).   That you are okay with the hardcover and will not be requesting your credit returned, but she should verify  when posting that her book matches the PBS database of Author/Title/ISBN/Binding.  If it doesn't, then she should post it without a  ISBN.

Even a member that has been with the site for 1- 1/2 years can make a mistake.

You are right Robin; I should have known that was an option.

Binding is one of the variables that MUST match when members post books.
