This is a fabulous and satisfying mixture of a scifi/fantasy story with excellent characters and a fast plot line. That is not to say it is a fast or easy read.
The scheming and twists and turns in this story are what make you keep turning the pages as quickly as you can. I have come to be very fond of Annon, Giyan, and Riane.
I have ordered the two next books in this trilogy and cannot wait to dig in!
